Brilliant tool, solid with great accessories
Feels solid and is powerful with decent control over speed. Also comes with a great set of accessories and Tstack case. I'm not entirely sure how I worked without this. For somethings there really is no decent alternative tool. Also it arrived the next day with free postage and was by more then £10 the best price I could find. Thanks Toolstation

Multiple features make this a winner
I have never owned or used a multi-tool before. And I have no previous experience whatsoever of DeWalt power tools. But I do know that trying to save a bob or two by buying cheap gear can leave you dejected, disappointed and unable to finish jobs properly and professionally.
Having picked up a Victorian, wooden, sash-window repair job, I knew I'd need some serious electro-mechanical help to rip out the old damaged and rotten timber without damaging the surrounding soft-sandstone mullions and sill. After several hours research, the DeWalt DWE315KT made it to the top of the list based on quality, reliability, versatility, ease of use, functionality and importantly completeness i.e. comes with a whole bunch of accessories without which would make the unit 'neither use nor ornament'.
The supplied rugged case contains IMO one of the best multi-tool designs on the market. This professional power tool excels in many aspects particularly the quick-change, tool-free clamp which holds the various accessories rigidly and securely - a really innovative and functional design. It's slimline shape enables you to work accurately in close and confined spaces. The tool head doesn't 'drift' and should be ideal for example, for making plasterboard cutouts for electrical socket boxes.
So where do the electrons come from? Well, (for the UK market) it's a 230V, 300W tool with a variable oscillating frequency of 0-22,000, so the power is supplied from the mains via a 4 (yes 4!) metre rubberised, flexible power cord. And it'll run all day long at full tilt as long as you have mains power nearby. I'm not wholly sold on battery power. The additional cost of re-chargeable batteries which are 'consumables' (meaning they have a finite lifespan) can be prohibitive and you still need mains voltage (or a 'jenny') to power the charger. It's a mystery to me. How do batteries know it's time to go to sleep when you reach the critical point when you need them most? And what about the extra weight and bulk?
This DeWalt tool weighs in at 1.5Kg (3.3lbs). You just know when you pick it up it means business whether cutting or detailed-sanding. Check out the list of supplied accessories; you'll be surprised:

Good tool for replacing rotten decking boards
Brilliant tool for the price
Used this tool one once, but it is very good quality and the accessories are easy to attach. It wad easy to replace wooden rotten decking boards, because the cut is straight down and a circular saw will cut into the next board.
The case is very well made and thos was another reason to have bought this tool.
Can only recommend it to any DIY pepole and to professionals.

Saved me a lot of effort.
