Fine within its limitations…as is everything!
Bought it because I wanted to try a less weighty trimmer without a mains lead. The deal was sealed as it came with a battery+charger at no cost. And, it was rated best trimmer (in its class) by Gardeners World magazine in 2021. Works fine so far for my 40 minute sessions cutting top and sides of yew, winter-honeysuckle + hawthorn hedges. It is best suited to lighter trimming of smaller leafed/twiggy hedges and if you respect it’s limitations it should ‘do the job’ (it’s not really suited to laurel hedges due to the broad leaves and narrower cutting blades). Just don’t expect to hack your way through your Amazonian veg patch without it (understandably) complaining…that’s for a professional!

This item was got the Tool Station in two days,very good .unfortunately unable to collect. I hope it will still be a the Depot when I am back from sea.

1st Time Use Recommendation
Used today for 1st time. I usual use an electic hedge trimmer and feels far to light and quiet. However it did the same job just as well. Only got a 1/3 of what I wanted completed due to the weather. Looking forward to doing rest of garden. Its some much easier with no extentions and being consious of the cables location to awould electrocution. Definitely recommended, I can see myself cutting my hedges more frequently due to the lack of hassle. Charge the battery and go.

Einhell hedge trimmer.
Excellent value for money, body plus free battery & charger. Feels robust enough for what it is, light easy to handle and coped with more than a reasonable trim to my substantial highland hedges! No cable no ear defenders required. Doesn’t sound like it’s got a lot of grunt but don’t let that put you off.

Good quality, great price
Good light weight trimmer. Easily cuts through the outer sprigs of the bushes, takes a bit of effort to get through the thicker ones, but does get there. Good smooth operation with low vibration. Double handle operation with safety microswitch button on both so you can't start it accidentally. Recommend for the amature bush crafter.
