Light saver
This product fits the bill well for me. I had an old floodlight that used 400 watts halogen bulb and now I can re-purpose it with this and save so much energy as well as saving the old floodlight from the bin. Quality product, fits perfectly and produces bright white light to illuminate my driveway. Saves money and works well, what's not to like. Nice one Toolstation - thanks.

Pretty cool!
This was purchased when on offer to replace a blown 400w bulb I'd had in my portable floodlight that I'd used for DIY for years. Although much less bright, at 1,200+ lumen it's still brilliant enough to work well, both in darkness and in daylight to illuminate key areas. I no longer have a lamp that burns me if I pick it up carelessly, and at c9W it's far, far less costly to run. Hope it lasts as long as my previous halogen bulb!

Not very bright in a floor standing standard lamp.
Nowhere near as bright as the original 300w halogen bulb, which I replaced last year with a identical LED bulb to this one, but which had started making an annoying whistling noise.
